High quality reprint of an iconic Soviet theatre poster.

This is a Soviet avant-garde theatre poster created for the Moscow State Jewish Theatre (GOSET), one of the most important experimental Yiddish theatre companies in the Soviet Union. The poster advertises a production of Trouhadec (spelled “ТРУАДЕК” in Russian), adapted from the French playwright Jules Romains.

The poster itself is attributed to the Russian/Soviet artist and designer Vladimir Vasilyevich Lebedev, a major figure in Constructivist and modernist graphic design.
