The artwork depicts an elderly man carrying folding beach chairs and walking along a seaside promenade, with beach huts and deckchairs in the background. It was part of the "East Coast Types" series, which humorously portrayed recognizable seaside characters found at British East Coast resorts. These posters were produced in the 1930s to encourage rail travel to holiday destinations served by the LNER. Source ; Google.
