Very rare original 1953 Italian magazine print featuring American distance swimmer Florence Chadwick “La Pellegrina della stretti” / The pilgrim of the straits. Chadwick was the first woman to swim the English Channel and was always setting new swimming distance records.
Highly quirky and an excellent piece of artwork, this would look excellent mounted and framed.
