High quality reprint of an original artwork - La Sera – Il giornale più a buon mercato di Milano, by Italian poster artist Leopoldo Metlicovitz (1868–1944). The Italian Ministry of Culture catalogue dates it after 1892 and before 1895 and identifies the scene specifically as a young female newspaper seller distributing papers in a crowded venue. It was one of Metlicovitz’s early works after he joined the famous Ricordi printing works in Milan in 1892.
