About the artist:

Ferdinand Edouard Ernest Mifliez, known as Misti, born September 10, 1865, in the 10th arrondissement of Paris[1] and died June 20, 1922, in Neuilly-sur-Seine[2], was a French painter, poster artist, lithographer, and illustrator.

A graduate of the École des Arts Décoratifs, a student of Edmond Lechevallier-Chevignard[3], Ferdinand Mifliez adopted the artist name "Misti" in 1888 and signed all his subsequent graphic works with it.
