A superb vintage ex science metal lab trolley with two inlaid Formica shelves. c1950s.
We believe it was commissioned / possibly designed by Peter and Alison Smithson as part of the furniture for Smithdon school in 1949.
This was recently salvaged from Smithdon school science lab in Hunstanton, Norfolk where it was being used until very recently. Two are available.
These units work perfectly in a hospitality environment (restaurant/ bar) and equally well in a home setting as a drinks cabinet or hall or lounge storage / TV shelf.
