Beautiful old original genuine 1956 Tour de France route map,sponsored by Lambretta and showing all 21 stages of the Tour de France..
Originally issued as a supplement with an old french cycling magazine. These maps would have been supplied so that people could follow the tour at home or in bars and restaurant, where they were possibly displayed on walls.
This is an unusual version of the map as they were usually sponsored by advertisers such as Lambretta, Perrier, Coca Cola etc, but this one is unsponsored, but with photos of the main riders at the bottom.
