Unique Drawer cabinets, perfect for a kitchen or retail unit. Very stylish and solid dentistry cabinets which were originally ordered and built for the Eastman dental hospital in Grays inn Road, central London in 1931. George Eastman of the Eastman/ Kodak empire part funded the hospital which provided dental care for children from poor families.. These cabinets were de-commissioned some time in the 1970s and taken home by a former employee..

They were recently acquired by Vintagehausinterior and are now offered for sale at £675.00 each.

Solid, believed maple wood construction with dovetailed joints. There’s a nifty little kick bin door with stainless steel panel at the bottom right side. Condition wise there is no apparent damage, just regular wear from 40+ years in use.  They have been cleaned and oiled to give a nice sheen and accentuate the patination in the dark varnish.

One unit has a strip at the back to stop things rolling off the back, and the other doesn’t. There is also a locking bar which will be included in the sale but the units come with no keys. A very cool and unusual find. Would be great to sell them as a pair. Viewing is invited prior to purchase.

Collect from Enfield EN1 or arrange delivery at buyer's cost.
