Cangiullo metMarinetti,Boccioni,Carrà, andRussoloat a "Futurist evening" on April 20, 1910 , and joined their circle. A self-taught artist, he developed methods for translating the deconstruction of language into painting, poetry, and theater. In 1914, he presented himself for the first time as a painter and performer. Later, he devoted himself extensively to the typographic design of literary texts, which frequently appeared inLacerba,Vela Latina, andL'Italia Futurista
