About the artist;

 Oskar Schlemmer (born September 4, 1888 , in Stuttgart ; died April 13, 1943 , in Baden-Baden ) was a German painter , sculptor , and stage designer . From 1920 to 1929, he worked as a master at the Bauhaus in Weimar and Dessau and designed its logo . Schlemmer's works primarily explored the position of the human figure in space. During his main creative period from 1920 to 1932, he produced numerous paintings of stereometric figures and interlocking groups of figures, whose geometric and choreographic design reflects a striving for universal harmony.
