c1950s compass leg desk by James Leonard for Esavian / ESA. A favourite at VH Interior and an absolute icon of British modernist design.

The elm top has been stripped and sanded and treated with oil and wax. The grain is truly beautiful.

The cast alloy compass legs have been lightly stripped and hand polished to highlight their form and aesthetic.

This item can either be used as a desk or a breakfast / kitchen table. It is high enough (70cm) for four adults to be able to sit in comfort.
